You may have heard a story about a small boy who dreams of being a success in life. Praveen Andapally is living proof of such a story, and he has made many sacrifices to achieve his goals.

Twenty years ago, when Praveen Andapally completed his post-graduate studies, he dreamed of opening up a company and launching an Initial Public Offering firm in India.

In 2001, Praveen Andapally, at the age of 37, became the Vice President of a major IT consulting company with offices in both New Jersey, USA and Hyderabad, India. The company has built an extensive referral and recruitment network and database. Currently, the company has two main products that focus on customer relationship management and IT risk management. The company was ranked the fourth-fastest growing company in New Jersey by Deloitte & Touche LLP. In 2006, the company was voted 29th among the fastest 500 growing companies located in North America by Deloitte & Touche LLP.100% of the company’s business comes from providing consulting services in the US.

Mr. Andapally began his career by teaching students in India programming, but then he started moving toward his goal and started writing programming codes himself. Soon thereafter, in 1996, he joined PeopleSoft, a US company, as a programmer.

However, he wanted to reach his goal sooner, so he branched out to sales in 1998 and joined the company, SRG. At SRG, Mr. Andapally worked hard and increased the turnover of the company from $2.5 million to $20 million. The phenomenal growth of the company pushed Mr. Andapally through the SRG ranks, and, finally, he became the vice president of its global operations his time at SRG gave him the confidence to start his own business.

Mr. Andapally has now invested around $3 million in the company’s Indian operations, and, with his professional team in the U.S. and India, he is initiating negotiations with several companies for acquisitions. In fact, in 2007, Mr. Andapally was directly involved in the company’s acquisition of Compugura Systems, an SAP practice, and he successfully managed the entire SAP practice As a CEO until 2009

Mr. Andapally is certainly an expert in the management of IT consulting companies, and the success of such companies is valid evidence of his success.
